Google Business Profile
The profile is often the first thing a nearby customer sees. Categories, services, descriptions, photos, hours, and the link to the right landing page are set up and kept accurate.
Local SEO
Local SEO is how a business shows up when someone nearby searches for what it does. Webbify handles the Google Business Profile, citation consistency, and the pages on the site that answer local intent, as one system rather than three separate checklists. No promises about the map pack, because nobody can honestly make them.
What local SEO covers
Local visibility breaks down when they disagree. A profile with the wrong category, a directory listing with an old phone number, or a website that never mentions where the business operates each undercut the others.
The profile is often the first thing a nearby customer sees. Categories, services, descriptions, photos, hours, and the link to the right landing page are set up and kept accurate.
Business name, phone, and service area stated the same way everywhere: the website, the profile, directories, and structured data. Inconsistency is a common, fixable source of local confusion.
Service pages that speak to customers in the area the business serves and answer local questions, rather than a stack of near-identical city pages that search engines and visitors both see through.
Google Business Profile
Most profiles are set up once and left. Categories drift, hours go stale, and the link points at a homepage that never mentions the service the customer searched for. Webbify treats the profile as part of the site.
Profile work is done inside your own Google account. Webbify is added as a manager and can be removed at any time. The profile work on its own is described on the Google Business Profile management page, but it does the most alongside the website it points to.
Citations and location signals
Citations are mentions of the business name, phone, and service area on directories and other sites. They are not a volume game. A few accurate, relevant listings beat dozens of inconsistent ones.
Webbify starts by finding what already exists: old listings with a previous phone number, a former address, or a business name spelled three ways. Those get corrected or removed. Then the core listings that matter for the business are set up consistently, in the same wording the website and the Google Business Profile use.
On the site itself, location relevance comes from honest signals: a clear statement of the service area, structured data that matches the visible content, service pages that name the city or area where it is genuinely relevant, and content that answers the questions local customers ask. It does not come from stuffing city names into headings or building a page for every suburb. For example, a Houston med spa needs one strong set of treatment pages with Houston relevance written in, not a copy of each page for every surrounding suburb.
Webbify is based in the Houston area, and most local SEO work so far has been for Houston businesses. If that is you, the Houston SEO services page describes the full local engagement.
In practice
Lily Lane Aesthetics serves patients in the Memorial area of Houston and travelers from further away. The local SEO work sat inside a larger redesign: service pages built around treatment-specific search intent, Houston relevance written into the content, and consistency between the site and the practice's business information.

Service-page architecture around treatment search intent, Houston-specific relevance, local SEO foundations, and travel content for out-of-town patients, all inside a Squarespace-to-WordPress redesign.
No ranking, traffic, or booking figures are published for this project. The case study describes the structure and the reasoning.
Honest expectations
Local search is full of guarantees that cannot be kept. This is the list Webbify will stand behind.
Where this fits
It works best on top of a technically sound, well-structured site. These pages cover the layers underneath and around it.
Local SEO is one of the specialist pages under SEO services. If the site itself needs rebuilding first, see website redesign without losing SEO.
Questions
No one can promise that. The local pack depends on the searcher’s location, distance to the business, relevance, and competition, none of which a provider controls. Webbify does the work that makes a business eligible and competitive: an accurate, complete profile, consistent citations, and pages that match local intent. It does not promise placement.
Getting ownership and verification right, choosing accurate categories, listing services in the same language the website uses, keeping hours and attributes current, adding real photos, linking to the right landing page, and having a plan for reviews and questions. Most profiles Webbify reviews have at least a few of these wrong.
Usually not. Pages that swap one city name for another are thin content, and both search engines and visitors recognize them. A single strong presence in the primary market, a clear service area, and service pages that answer local questions do more. A dedicated location page is justified only where there is a genuine, distinct business presence.
Reviews are one of the signals Google uses for local results, and they matter to customers regardless. Webbify helps set up an honest process for asking satisfied customers to leave reviews and for responding to them. It never writes, buys, or filters reviews.
